Get Involved

Home of the Spartans

What we know about student success in school is that those students involved perform higher than those not involved.  Are you taking a year long elective class?  Do you play intramural or sports outside of school?  Is there a club or activity that you either do or would like to start? Come talk to Ms. Macy or Mr. Medlock. We are always approving new clubs!  Are you involved in some sort of community project or volunteer work?  We are big proponents here at Sunset of students giving back and getting involved with their community.

Spartans Get Involved

We know that students who are involved in activities in their school are more successful than those not involved.  Below we have provided a list of available activities and ways to get involved.  If there is a club or activity that you would like to start here at Sunset please come talk to Ms. Macy or Mr. Medlock, as we are always approving new clubs!

INTRAMURAL SPORTS

All of our intramural sports are non-competitive and are structured for students to learn basic skills of the sport while having fun!  The cost for each sport is $55.  Each sport has practices and games here at school from 2:30 – 4:30. There is a traveling team for 8th graders and a final district tournament.  Sign-ups take place during lunches and information is reported in morning announcements.
